Account Manager (Issuer Services)

Location: Hamilton, Bermuda; hybrid working.

What you will do

• Manage a varied portfolio of clients, primarily Bermuda-registered insurance companies.
• Provide accounting, administrative, banking, regulatory compliance, and ad hoc reporting services.
• Maintain or supervise client accounting records and prepare financial reports under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Liaise with clients, bankers, brokers, auditors, regulators, service providers, and stock exchanges.
• Prepare statutory financial returns under the Bermuda Insurance Act 1978.
• Support new business development, marketing, listing services, and procedure monitoring.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant, such as a Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of post-qualification experience, with preference for 1 year of insurance or funds-related experience.
• Detailed knowledge of preparing GAAP- and IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Ability to apply internal controls and compliance procedures across varied client service situations.
