Lead Fullstack Engineer (Java+JS)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain front-end and back-end applications for large-scale enterprise systems supporting grants and external expert management.
• Design responsive interfaces, APIs, business logic, database integrations, and scalable distributed-system architecture.
• Build, secure, test, debug, deploy, and operate RESTful APIs and web services.
• Use AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and related cloud infrastructure to manage applications.
• Lead technical delivery, maintain coding, quality, security, documentation, and architecture standards, and resolve production issues.
• Guide developers, review technical solutions, and coordinate technical alignment across cross-functional Agile teams.

Requirements

• Master’s-level university degree or equivalent and 15+ years of professional IT experience.
• Strong technical leadership experience as a Senior/Lead Developer or Architect, with strong analytical, risk-assessment, communication, and technical decision-making skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Java 19/21/25, Node.js, PHP, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Cloud, Hibernate JPA, REST APIs, Jakarta EE/J2EE, EJB 3, CDI, JMS, and WebLogic 14.
• High proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular, Vue, Bootstrap, Webpack, Vite, Nx, and RxJS.
• Advanced experience designing and securing REST APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger; knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Very good Apache Kafka knowledge and knowledge of JAX-WS, JAXB, Protobuf, Camunda, Activiti, and BPMN 2.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, schema design, query optimization, Maven, and Liquibase.
• Strong AWS cloud experience; experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes, CaaS, Consul, and AWS VDI environments.
• Advanced Git expertise, including GitFlow and trunk-based development; experience with GitLab, Bitbucket, and SVN.
• Experience with Hexagonal Architecture, microservices, CQRS, Kibana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Micrometer, and distributed tracing.
• Very good knowledge of JUnit 4/5 and experience with Mockito, Vitest, and Playwright.
• Extensive large-scale Agile delivery experience using Jira; knowledge of Scrum, Scrum of Scrums, SAFe, and PM2-Agile.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Amazon Q and Kiro, including reviewing AI-generated code.
• English or French proficiency at B2 level or higher.
