Lead Fullstack Engineer (Insurtech)

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of insurance enterprise software solutions and provide technical direction.
• Guide frontend and backend technology selection, architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into cohesive solutions and seamless user experiences.
• Optimize performance for large datasets and high user traffic while designing for scalability and evolving features.
• Lead code reviews, investigate bugs, and ensure web security, compliance, reliability, and code quality.
• Mentor junior developers and guide the team on modern technologies, frameworks, and development practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, including a track record of leading complex SaaS applications.
• At least 2 years in a lead or manager role with responsibility for guiding development teams.
• Strong backend proficiency with .NET Core, C#, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Docker.
• Frontend proficiency with JavaScript and Vue.js and/or React.js.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for scalable application development.
• Experience with microservices and/or clean architecture, container technologies, and cloud infrastructure.
• Practical experience with Test-Driven Development and unit, integration, and functional testing using frontend and backend testing libraries.
• Proficiency in Domain-Driven Design principles and experience building maintainable, modular architectures aligned with business domains.
• In-depth knowledge of web security best practices, industry compliance, performance optimization, agile methodologies, cross-functional collaboration, troubleshooting, and bug fixing.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, proactive working style, and interest in current software development technologies and practices.
