Mid Fullstack Engineer (Java/React)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work with attendance at the assigned office at least 3 days per week

What you will do

• Design and implement full-stack features for the hirify.global Automate workflow automation platform using Java and React/TypeScript.
• Develop scalable backend services with high performance, reliability, caching, database design, and asynchronous processing.
• Build responsive interfaces for creating, configuring, and monitoring automated workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, infrastructure, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural decisions, engineering practices, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Join the on-call rotation and attend weekly stand-ups, team meetings, and manager 1:1s.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated full-stack development expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Java and React/TypeScript, with deep knowledge of object-oriented design, REST APIs, and modern web development patterns.
• Experience building scalable backend systems, including database design, caching strategies, and asynchronous processing.
• Ability to assess, communicate, and complete project milestones with managers and team members in a time-sensitive environment.
• Fluent English proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and with Docker and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow automation, business process management, or integration platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects or mentoring junior engineers.
• Experience with enterprise integrations and API design.
• Open-source contributions or demonstrated passion for software craftsmanship.
