Senior Software Engineer (Guardrails)

What you will do

• Plan, design, develop, and test software systems, applications, cloud-based tools, enhancements, and new features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and engineer product areas and services.
• Deliver systems that meet quality, security, scalability, modifiability, extensibility, and testability expectations.
• Plan feature development, design system components, and contribute to the engineering roadmap.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs while maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.
• Contribute to effective and agile engineering practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience using a high-level language such as C#, C++, Java, Python, or Rust.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and architectural design patterns.
• Knowledge of multithreading, synchronization, and asynchronous programming.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to write well-tested, high-quality code.
• Familiarity with current .NET and C# features.
• Experience with C++, NodeJS, JavaScript, Angular, or XAML.
• Cloud services experience with one or more of Azure, AWS, or GCP; Azure is preferred.
• Experience with data-processing platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines such as Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Spark, or dbt.
• Familiarity with modern data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and analytics engineering best practices.
