Regional Fleet Controller (Automotive): Coordinating vehicle allocation, movements, maintenance, availability, and disposal across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW regions with an accent on operational data, fleet performance, and stakeholder coordination. Focus on balancing vehicle supply with customer demand, maintaining accurate fleet systems, and supporting safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Location: Hybrid at Gold Coast Airport, Bilinga, QLD, Australia, with 3 days in the office and 2 flexible working days; occasional interstate travel required.

What you will do

  • Plan, communicate, and manage fleet allocation and vehicle movements across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW regions.
  • Coordinate vehicle repairs, warranty work, maintenance, onboarding, movement, and disposal.
  • Maintain accurate fleet information in COBRA and other reporting systems.
  • Monitor fleet availability, utilisation, performance, and costs through analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Support fleet strategies, operational changes, projects, trials, and business initiatives.
  • Build relationships with operational teams, franchise partners, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience in fleet coordination, car rental, logistics, transport, automotive operations, or a similar fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence interpreting operational data for decision-making.
  • Strong systems and computer literacy, including experience with operational reporting tools.
  • Sound judgement and confidence making decisions supporting fleet and business objectives.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong time management, prioritisation, attention to detail, and a proactive, adaptable approach.
  • Current full driver’s licence and full Australian working rights required.
  • Successful applicants must complete a National Criminal History Check.
