Intern (Asset Management and Pensions Companies)

Location: Riga, Latvia; hybrid work. The possibility to work from anywhere in the EU, Iceland, Switzerland, and the UK is available for up to 90 days per year. The candidate is primarily expected to be already located within the Baltics.

Gross salary: EUR 900/month.

What you will do

• Support Asset Management and Pension companies projects through data collection and analysis.
• Perform administrative tasks related to pension agreements, applications, and other documents.
• Communicate with bank project stakeholders to obtain the input required for assigned tasks.
• Plan and complete personal tasks on time according to quality standards, budgets, and hirify.global values.
• Cooperate proactively and responsibly to contribute to department and organisational results.
• Develop professional competencies independently and provide insights and constructive feedback.

Requirements

• Currently studying for a university degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Genuine interest in asset management, pension funds, investments, financial markets, or banking.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to work confidently with data.
• Detail-oriented approach and commitment to accurate, high-quality work.
• Proactive, curious attitude and willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
• Ability to organise work, manage deadlines, and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Fluent English and Latvian in spoken and written communication are required for Pan-Baltic work.
