GCM Intern - UK (Banking)

Location: Hybrid position in London, United Kingdom

Company

Banking organization offering a 12-month internship across Loan Agency and Structured Finance.

What you will do

• Spend six months in the Loan Agency team followed by six months in the Structured Finance team.
• Complete clerical assignments including data entry and filing.
• Conduct routine research and analysis and prepare basic spreadsheets and word-processing documents.
• Follow risk, regulatory, and internal control standards, identifying issues requiring management escalation.
• Implement internal and external audit points and address applicable issues raised by external regulators.
• Participate in departmental projects, initiatives, guest-speaker sessions, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate sandwich course with a year in industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Work under immediate supervision for an established 12-month period.

Nice to have

• Prior banking or office experience.
• Good personal computer skills.
