AI Professional Services Engineer

What you will do

• Own technical delivery for priority enterprise customers from discovery and prototyping through stable production.
• Build customer-specific production skills, AI applications, and agent workflows within a professional services engineering pod.
• Develop automated evaluation suites using ground-truth scenarios, golden datasets, and regression testing for semantic correctness, tool-call fidelity, and behavioral stability.
• Implement observability and continuous measurement and tuning for AI systems.
• Turn broadly useful customer capabilities into durable platform primitives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of production software engineering experience, including hands-on development of backend services, distributed systems, and APIs using Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Go.
• Ability to personally write, review, and ship production code.
• Direct experience building and deploying production LLM and agentic AI systems, including stateful agent workflows, tool or function calling, structured outputs, context-window optimization, and production RAG pipelines with hybrid search, semantic chunking, and re-ranking.
• Experience acting as a technical lead with external engineering teams, such as a Forward-Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer with production code ownership, or founding engineer.
• Ability to conduct architecture reviews and design agentic systems.
• Ability to enter complex, unfamiliar enterprise environments, extract technical requirements from ambiguous business problems, and rapidly design working systems.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience authoring or consuming Model Context Protocol servers and clients.
• Speech-pipeline experience with ASR domain vocabulary biasing and TTS pronunciation tuning.
• Experience designing multi-tenant architectures with strict tenant isolation and prevention of cross-tenant context leakage.
