IT Operations Engineer (Microsoft 365)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid model with at least three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Lead and contribute to IT change and modernization initiatives, ensuring solutions are secure, supportable, and governed.
• Own technical expertise across Microsoft 365 and its security capabilities, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Defender, and Purview.
• Design and evolve hybrid infrastructure across Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server, networking, endpoints, and cloud services with the outsourced IT provider.
• Design and improve identity and access controls, including Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, RBAC, and identity governance.
• Oversee security operations and complex technical issues with the SOC and IT partners, including incident investigation, remediation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Drive automation, continuous improvement, technical governance, supplier review, documentation, and standards using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.

Requirements

• Strong enterprise experience with Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview, and Exchange Online.
• Experience across hybrid Microsoft environments spanning Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server, networking, endpoints, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of identity, authentication, and access management across Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Experience working in an outsourced IT model, providing technical oversight and collaborating with service providers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across Microsoft 365, cloud, identity, infrastructure, and on-premises technologies.
