Test Automation Engineer (Playwright)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain E2E test suites with Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Test React and Next.js applications, including SSR/SSG flows and complex component interactions.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and designers to define acceptance criteria and test coverage.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, optimize performance, and resolve flaky tests.
• Maintain cross-browser coverage across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit on mobile and desktop.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in test automation for modern web applications.
• Proven expertise with Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of testing React and Next.js environments.
• Strong familiarity with Git, GitHub workflows, and CI integration.
• Excellent debugging skills for test scripts and product issues.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jest, Vitest, or React Testing Library.
• Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs and integration testing.
• Experience with visual regression tools and performance testing.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms.
