Senior QA Engineer (Playwright)

Location: Beirut, Lebanon; flexible remote work environment

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test suites using Playwright with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Build modular, reusable automation frameworks and integrate automated tests into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, cross-browser, and manual testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to define requirements, test plans, and coverage.
• Track defects, verify fixes, analyze test results, and provide insights to engineering teams.
• Mentor QA team members and contribute to QA strategy, automation practices, and engineering quality standards.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in QA automation engineering.
• Strong, proven experience writing automated tests with Playwright.
• Solid proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript for Playwright.
• Experience with modern QA methodologies, test design, and test management tools.
• Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with REST API testing and tools such as Postman, Playwright API, or similar.
• Familiarity with Git and other version control systems.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment; interest in applying technology to the energy sector.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and related containerization or deployment tools.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies for frontend development.
• Familiarity with the energy industry and power systems software.
