Senior QA Automation (Playwright)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks with Playwright and/or Cypress, JUnit, and modern automation practices.
• Build and execute unit, component, integration, contract, API, end-to-end, regression, performance, and load tests.
• Own component and integration testing for Java microservices, including service behavior, data flows, and API contracts across service boundaries.
• Automate testing for Workforce Management forecasting, schedule generation, scheduling rules, and constraints.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, and business stakeholders to define quality standards, analyze defects, and improve quality across the SDLC.

Requirements

• 6+ years of QA Automation experience.
• Experience designing component and integration test suites for Java microservices using tools such as Spring Boot Test, Testcontainers, WireMock, or REST Assured.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress using TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience with contract testing, including Pact or Spring Cloud Contract.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools and practices such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience testing WFM forecasting and scheduling engines or other complex rule-based business systems. This includes validating forecasts against historical volume and handle-time data, staffing calculations against service-level targets, and schedules against labor rules, shift patterns, breaks, and skills.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Contact Center, CX, CCaaS, Routing, or Voice platforms.
• Understanding of telephony, IVR, call flows, agent routing, and customer interaction systems.
