Working Student AI Automation & Support (d/f/m)

Location: Hybrid at Better Place, Oranienstraße 183, Berlin, Germany, with weekly team days. Remote work from anywhere is available for up to 12 weeks per year. Applicants must be authorized to work in Germany or already hold a Job Seeker Visa.

hirify.global develops a geo-based, AI-powered SaaS product for last-mile logistics, including address processing, dynamic routing, and navigation for complex delivery operations.

What you will do

• Split working time between AI and automation projects (75%) and hands-on customer support (25%), collaborating with support and product teams.
• Maintain and expand the internal knowledge base for Fin, the AI agent answering customer questions in Intercom.
• Write and update support articles, verify facts with product owners, and keep documentation current.
• Review Fin conversations to identify incorrect answers, missing content, and dead ends; fix root causes and test changes in Fin Operator or Betterbot.
• Own Fin’s escalation, routing, and automation logic and implement behavioral changes.
• Answer user support requests and use customer questions to identify opportunities for improving Fin.

Requirements

• Enrolled student based in Berlin, available for around 20 hours per week.
• Hands-on experience building workflows in n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar tools; university and side projects are accepted.
• Working understanding of LLM behavior and common failure modes.
• Strong attention to accuracy, fact-checking, and willingness to ask questions rather than guess.
• Self-sufficient ownership of work combined with openness to feedback and collaborative problem-solving.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, with the ability to write clear and precise documentation.
• German is not required.
