Assistant Controller (AI/SaaS)

What you will do

• Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and US GAAP financial reporting across the parent company and subsidiaries.
• Lead key parts of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close across all entities.
• Own the revenue cycle from sales-order setup and billing through ASC 606 revenue recognition, including accurate revenue and deferred revenue reporting.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collections, support accounts payable, and manage intercompany transactions, recharges, and transfer-pricing documentation.
• Coordinate annual and local statutory audits, prepare audit schedules, and work with external auditors and local accountants.
• Support tax compliance, investor reporting, ad hoc analysis, finance projects, and AI-driven automation across finance.

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
• Big Four accounting-firm internship is required.
• 1–3 years of post-internship experience in the high-tech industry or with a Big Four firm is required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• High level of English, written and verbal, with strong communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, with strong organization, attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to learn quickly.
• AI-oriented mindset and curiosity about new technologies.

• Experience using NetSuite.
