AMS Consultant (OpenText VIM/SAP)

What you will do

• Support customers remotely with the stable operation of complex SAP applications.
• Implement, configure, upgrade, and support OpenText VIM, IC, BCC/IES, and related components throughout build, testing, cutover, and post-production.
• Configure PO and NPO invoice processing, exception handling, COA approval workflows, 3-way-match LIX workflows, central reporting, scanning, email channels, and IDoc input channels.
• Map EDI and IDoc changes, including vendor part numbers, source fields, PO versus NPO determination, vendor determination, preprocessing, and requisitioner routing.
• Configure VIM integration with EDI imaging templates, create images from IDoc data, and match existing OnBase Smart Forms.
• Integrate VIM with SAP MM and FICO-AP modules and troubleshoot using ABAP debugging.

Requirements

• 8–11 years of experience with OpenText suites for SAP and VIM solutions.
• At least two complete end-to-end implementations are mandatory.
• Experience with OpenText VIM, Intelligent Capture Center, Accounts Payable, SAP Fiori, Content Server, Archive Center, Remote Cache Server, OpenText Archiving, VIM integration with SAP S/4HANA, and Enterprise Scan.
• Experience installing VIM and BC components and upgrading VIM and IC/BCC.
• Hands-on experience configuring VIM document types for PO and NPO invoices and supporting the complete implementation cycle.
• Experience configuring BCC/IES invoice processing, approval and exception workflows, LIX 3-way matching, reporting, scanning, email channels, and IDocs.
• Experience troubleshooting VIM implementations during build, testing, cutover, and post-production support.
• Working knowledge of ABAP debugging and integration with SAP MM and FICO-AP.
• Hands-on experience with EDI and IDoc mapping, vendor determination, invoice automation logic, preprocessing, mapping engine configuration, and requisitioner routing.

Nice to have

• Awareness of additional OpenText products such as Enterprise Scan, Enterprise Library, Archiving, and Document Access for SAP.
