Sr. Automation and Data Partner (Power Platform/Databricks)

Location: Heber City or Provo, Utah offices; remote arrangements are not available.

What you will do

• Assess business workflows and lead automation initiatives from discovery through rollout, including requirements, testing, documentation, training, and support.
• Design, build, and maintain solutions with Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, SharePoint, APIs, supported integrations, and approved AI tools.
• Develop AI-assisted document processing, information extraction, and decision-support workflows with output validation and human review.
• Oversee data and analytics initiatives across Databricks and Power BI, including pipelines, transformations, tables, schemas, semantic models, reports, and dashboards.
• Audit data quality and lineage, resolve discrepancies, maintain documentation, and improve pipeline and model performance.
• Partner with finance, safety, fleet, People Team, and project management; mentor analysts and contributors and measure adoption, time savings, error reduction, and reporting improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, data analytics, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least five years of progressive experience in automation, data analytics, business systems, or related technical work, including delivery and support of cross-departmental solutions.
• Strong hands-on Power Automate and Power Apps experience, including integrations, troubleshooting, testing, and deployment of business-critical solutions.
• Strong SQL and Power BI skills, including data modeling, Power Query, and DAX, plus practical experience with Databricks pipelines, tables, and schemas.
• Experience applying AI tools to business workflows and evaluating output quality; working knowledge of APIs, authentication, data governance, and secure business-data handling.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, investigate complex issues, and explain technical concepts clearly to business users and leadership.
• Ability to guide technical work, mentor others, document solutions, and carry projects through implementation and ongoing support.

Nice to have

• Experience in construction, utility services, or a related operational environment, including exposure to JD Edwards, HCSS, Salesforce, or comparable business systems.
• Python or PySpark, Azure data services, Databricks governance tools, source control, or automated deployment practices.
• Copilot Studio or other approved AI platforms, process improvement and change management, or relevant Microsoft and Databricks certifications.
