The hirify.global is a global sports and media organization creating and distributing basketball content across leagues, digital platforms, and international partners.

What you will do

• Edit social-first short-form, vertical, and real-time video with strong storytelling, pacing, music, and sound design.
• Provide real-time game and event coverage for nightly, weekly, and tentpole social and digital programming, including work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Collaborate with producers, content creators, publishers, designers, editors, and stakeholders to identify and produce compelling moments from hirify.global games, events, and league storylines.
• Finish and composite programming using professional non-linear editing systems.
• Create and deliver content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, Stories, Snapchat, and emerging vertical platforms.
• Manage competing deadlines, incorporate feedback, support publishing, and maintain creative and technical quality.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience editing social-first short-form content for a sports, media, production, or entertainment organization.
• Advanced proficiency with professional non-linear editing systems, preferably Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong proficiency in compositing, audio mixing and sweetening, color correction, media management, quality control, and final content delivery.
• Ability to produce polished video with narrative structure, character development, and a defined storyline, including content for vertical platforms.
• Experience creating basketball or sports-related content and strong knowledge of hirify.global players, coaches, teams, statistics, standings, league history, basketball rules, terminology, analytics, and game history.
• Strong understanding of the hirify.global’s social voice, visual identity, and audience.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects, and handle critical, time-sensitive assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, project-management, communication, and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and execute feedback while maintaining established standards.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the hirify.global calendar.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Film, Television, Media Production, or a related field.
