Shooter/Editor (YouTube)

Location: New York, NY; on-site work with regular attendance at the Manhattan office required

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Shoot and edit 10–20 minute YouTube videos in explainer, vlog, documentary, and experimental formats.
• Shoot and edit 1–3 minute vertical videos for YouTube Shorts, Reels, and TikTok.
• Partner with producers on scripting, story structure, tone of voice, and visual direction.
• Select music, perform sound design, apply basic color correction, and level audio.
• Coordinate with motion graphics designers and create basic keyframing, on-screen text, and visual effects when needed.
• Manage multiple projects while identifying pacing issues and improving edits.

Requirements

• 4+ years of editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• 4+ years of shooting experience, preferably including field or verité-style production.
• Experience creating content specifically for YouTube and social video platforms.
• Ability to create graphics and text elements efficiently in Premiere.
• Ability to edit both humorous content and dense explainers.
• Ability to regularly work from the Manhattan office.

Nice to have

• Basic proficiency in After Effects or Photoshop.
• Experience with field or verité-style shooting.
