Product Designer (AI)

Location: On-site at the Austin, Texas office; candidates must live in the Austin area. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

hirify.global is an AI-native software platform helping U.S.-based manufacturers find and work with suppliers through supplier relationship management, supply-chain workflows, and supplier intelligence for DoD and commercial customers.

What you will do

• Deliver user experience and visual design across hirify.global products in partnership with product management and engineering.
• Plan and conduct research with manufacturers and suppliers, including interviews, rapid prototype testing, and synthesis.
• Create journey maps, interaction models, high-fidelity UI, design specifications, and edge-case documentation using the design system.
• Use AI model-driven tools such as Claude to generate UI and working prototypes, test concepts quickly, and present them to users early.
• Design data-dense procurement screens and AI-assisted decision flows that maintain user control and trust.
• Present design rationale, participate in critique, and remain involved through QA and launch.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS; the senior level requires 5+ years on B2B SaaS products with ownership of major workflows or product areas.
• Portfolio demonstrating shipped work and progression from problem to solution; senior candidates must also show end-to-end workflow thinking, product leadership, and measurable shipped outcomes.
• Experience designing complex, data-dense interfaces for business users.
• Hands-on experience with AI model-driven design and prototyping, including tools such as Claude for turning a design system into working UI.
• Ability to take ambiguous or roughly defined problems through to shipped design, with strong collaboration and communication with engineers and product partners.
• Strong interaction design and visual design craft with a consistently high bar.
• Senior candidates need strength in information architecture, reusable system patterns, influencing leadership and the roadmap, and mentoring designers or improving design practice.
