Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Implement, design, deploy, and maintain production-ready software solutions and mobile applications.
• Translate business needs and user stories into technical solutions with Product Owners, Designers, and Engineers.
• Create technical documentation, system diagrams, debugging reports, proof-of-concepts, and experiments.
• Conduct performance optimization, monitor delivery metrics, and improve deployment efficiency.
• Participate in agile planning, daily scrums, product demos, acceptance-criteria definition, and peer code reviews.
• Evaluate technology enhancements, emerging tools, product gaps, and development workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in the IT industry, including 3+ years building and delivering applications with React Native.
• 3+ years of Spring Boot application development experience.
• Expertise in analyzing, designing, implementing, and troubleshooting mobile applications for highly transactional systems.
• Experience with JavaScript, React JS, HTML, CSS, Swift/Kotlin, Objective-C/Java, React Native, and Java.
• Working knowledge of Redux, React, Expo, Jest, REST APIs, XML, and JSON; experience writing unit tests.
• Working knowledge of AI, including Cursor and Claude.
• Proficiency in Agile software development and strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Agile Scrum and SAFe experience.
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or GitHub CI and cross-functional DevOps expertise.
• Understanding of secure solution design principles.
• Familiarity with concurrent backend environments and multithreading.
• Experience with test-driven development frameworks or automated mobile testing tools.
• Exposure to AI IDEs such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot.
