Cable Infrastructure MAC Coordinator & Project Manager - Telecommunications Network Analyst II - Digital and Technology Partners (Telecommunications)

Location: New York, NY, US; 100% onsite at Mount Sinai South Nassau as the primary location, with travel to ambulatory clinics and other hospital sites as needed. The description also states a schedule of three onsite days and two remote days per week.

Salary: $82,000–$123,000 annually.

What you will do

• Coordinate cable infrastructure moves, adds, and changes through ServiceNow tickets for end users and Podio tickets for cable contractors.
• Conduct end-user walkthroughs, create scopes of work, coordinate contractors, and oversee installation, completion, and field conditions.
• Manage cable material orders, deliveries, inventory, vendor and contractor spending, and project budgets.
• Mark up and update Bluebeam, Visio, and Excel cable infrastructure drawings, cable run lists, pathways, and firewall penetrations.
• Oversee small to medium telecommunications infrastructure projects and coordinate with Facilities project managers, architects, engineers, network teams, and telecommunications teams.
• Provide required patient-control, infection-control, life-safety, and fire-safety documentation and permits, then close projects and update as-built records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Seven years of experience in all phases of telecommunications and network management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of experience in enterprise cable infrastructure or an end-user computing group.
• Hands-on experience supporting and administering Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise OmniPCX Enterprise (OXE) PBX systems and associated peripherals.
• Working knowledge of OmniVista 8770 administration, voicemail systems, Visual Automated Attendant, OpenTouch Fax, and SIP-based telephony.
• Experience troubleshooting PBX call servers, remote or passive call servers, gateways, PRI/T1 and SIP connectivity, endpoint devices, call routing, and related voice infrastructure.
• Experience with routine PBX administration, moves/adds/changes, system testing, documentation, and escalation to vendor or OEM support.
• Familiarity with enterprise telephony endpoints and peripheral services, including IP/SIP phones, voicemail, automated attendants, paging, emergency or ring-down services, and fax integration.
• Working knowledge of cable infrastructure standards, ANSI/TIA/EIA and 802.x standards, and Microsoft Office; excellent collaboration, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of ServiceNow, Podio, Microsoft Visio, and Revu Bluebeam.
