Data Governance Platform Manager (AI)

Location: Remote in Brazil

Base salary: $75k–$120k/year

hirify.global operates an on-demand marketplace for lawn care and outdoor services and is expanding into a single platform for home services across three brands.

What you will do

• Own the data governance roadmap, prioritizing platform health and business needs across product, marketing, operations, and finance.
• Build automated monitoring for source data, pipelines, reports, freshness, anomalies, and upstream schema changes.
• Establish lineage and impact analysis from production sources through warehouse models, metrics, dashboards, and ML systems.
• Administer and shape the Lightdash migration, including workspace structure, permissions, certification, naming standards, self-service, query performance, and warehouse costs.
• Extend the governed semantic layer and maintain one trusted definition per metric.
• Govern Segment event tracking, AI data access, data security, PII handling, retention, documentation, ownership, and review processes.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building trustworthy data systems, quality checks, automation, monitoring, and governance standards.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or ChatGPT daily for automation, anomaly triage, quality checks, and documentation.
• Experience as a hands-on manager accountable for other people's output, priorities, and time allocation while continuing to write SQL, debug Airflow DAGs, and configure permissions.
• Product-minded approach: ability to turn vague stakeholder needs into a prioritized data roadmap and make independent sequencing decisions.
• Automation-first quality practice based on monitors rather than manual review.
• Ability to enforce standards across engineers and analysts through clear rules, effective tooling, and constructive communication.
• Hands-on depth in the warehouse and pipeline layer, plus credible experience keeping a BI tool and tracking plan healthy at company scale.
• Experience with some or all of the listed stack is acceptable; complete coverage of every tool is not required.
