Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Full-time onsite in Scottsdale, Arizona, US

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Identify product and AI opportunities connected to revenue, customer success, efficiency, and long-term company value.
• Work with customers and internal teams to understand workflows and turn ambiguous business needs into technical plans.
• Build full-stack features, internal tools, integrations, data workflows, and AI-supported applications using Python, TypeScript, and React.
• Own initiatives from discovery and prototyping through testing, production deployment, adoption, and improvement.
• Define success measures, evaluate business and customer outcomes, and make practical decisions about scope, speed, maintainability, security, and quality.
• Convert successful customer or internal solutions into reusable components, documented playbooks, and scalable product capabilities.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering foundation with evidence of shipping working production software beyond coursework, tutorials, or unused prototypes.
• Production application development experience with Python, TypeScript, and React.
• Understanding of full-stack fundamentals, including APIs, databases, testing, debugging, deployment, authentication, and cloud-based systems.
• Ability to work independently through technical problems and request context or support when appropriate.
• Ability to communicate with customers, executives, developers, and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate progress, tradeoffs, risks, and changing expectations early.
• Ability to connect technical decisions to revenue, adoption, efficiency, risk, and customer outcomes.
• Ability to organize unclear problems, ask direct questions, and create a practical path forward.
• Thoughtful use of multiple AI development tools and a preference for building and delivering solutions.

Nice to have

• Production experience with LLMs, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluations, guardrails, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Direct customer experience in implementation, solutions engineering, technical consulting, product development, or a similar role.
• Experience in an early-stage or bootstrapped company with limited process, specialized teams, or resources.
• Experience with marketing automation, CRMs, HubSpot, real estate technology, workflow automation, or data-heavy SaaS products.
• A project demonstrating problem identification, solution development, launch, and evaluation of results.
