Senior Software Engineer

Location: Remote, United States

Base salary: USD $124,000–$329,200 per year. Certain roles may also include benefits, annual bonus, stock, or sales incentives.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, ship, and support scalable technical solutions across multiple hirify.global services.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions.
• Provide technical leadership through mentorship, pairing, and code reviews.
• Own system health and quality, including participation in on-call and first responder rotations.
• Write architecture briefs, proposals, code experiments, and prototypes for planetary-scale systems.
• Design APIs and CI/CD pipelines for seamless software integration and continuous delivery.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline with proven experience maintaining and delivering production software; or an associate’s degree and 5+ years, bachelor’s degree and 4+ years, master’s degree and 2+ years, doctorate, or equivalent experience.
• Production coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
• Experience developing maintainable, high-quality software solutions and working with software systems at scale.
