Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager, Select

Location: Hybrid role based in Metairie, Louisiana; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Austin, Dallas, or Houston, Texas.

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate service activities for commercial lines clients with $5,000 or more in revenue.
• Own client relationships, account retention, and the development of comprehensive and competitive insurance programs.
• Analyze coverage options, prepare proposals and insurance summaries, present recommendations, and implement programs.
• Manage renewal workflows, negotiate renewals and new coverage lines, and prevent lapses in coverage.
• Respond to client and carrier requests, assist with claims reporting, and manage invoicing, collections, and cancellations according to company standards.
• Educate and mentor Select Commercial Lines teammates, participate in virtual meetings and occasional in-person client visits, and maintain at least 92% retention on the assigned book of business.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a commercial Property & Casualty insurance agency.
• Must hold or be willing to earn a Property and Casualty insurance license.
• Must hold an industry designation or be willing to develop industry knowledge through courses.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy.
