Senior Security Architect (AI Security)

What you will do

• Drive strategic customer engagements focused on security architecture across identity, data, and infrastructure for Snowflake applications.
• Help customers adopt generative and agentic AI securely with Cortex, Cortex Agents, Cortex Guard, AI Observability, RBAC, and data masking.
• Deliver workshops and hands-on engagements for SIEM augmentation, log ingestion, cybersecurity data lakes, and modern security operations.
• Build repeatable reference architectures for IAM, data governance, row-level security, encryption, and well-architected deployments.
• Guide business continuity and disaster recovery journeys, including multi-region deployment patterns and measurable recovery outcomes.
• Create technical content and tooling, and translate customer needs into actionable feedback for product and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in data, security, networking, infrastructure, or AI engineering.
• Strong technical communication skills, including compelling demos, whiteboard sessions, and presentations for technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor and establish credibility with senior leadership and enterprise architects.
• Deep understanding of LLM security risks, including prompt injection and data leakage, and mitigation strategies such as Cortex Guard.
• Expertise in agentic AI governance, human-in-the-loop controls, and auditability for agent-driven actions.
• Mastery of differential privacy, data masking, and secure sandboxing for sensitive training and inference data.
• Proficiency in platform observability, including logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
• Expertise in IAM, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and RBAC across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Hands-on experience securing cloud and hybrid networks, including micro-segmentation, zero-trust principles, and Apache NiFi deployments.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL, Python, and APIs.
• Proficiency in container and Kubernetes security, including image scanning, Pod Security Standards, network policies, service mesh, and secrets management.
• Strong GRC background covering SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, continuous monitoring, and security auditing.
• Understanding of emerging AI regulations, including the EU AI Act, and their impact on enterprise data strategy.
• Familiarity with mapping AI/ML workloads to SOC 2, HIPAA, and HITRUST requirements through Snowflake’s AI Trust Center.
• CISSP certification.
