Head of Security Centre (Vehicle Security)

Location: Oakville, Ontario, Canada; flexible hybrid working model. Routine travel of approximately 10–15% is required.

Annual base salary: $138,600–$184,900 CAD.

What you will do

• Own the Security Centre product vision, strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes, including vehicle recovery rates.
• Drive end-to-end discovery, requirements, prioritization, delivery, and AI-enabled workflow optimization.
• Validate business cases through market sizing, competitor analysis, and willingness-to-pay research.
• Manage theft-prevention products including Starter Inhibit, immobilization, and relay-kit solutions.
• Build customer feedback loops and track adoption, retention, time-to-value, NPS, revenue, and other performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Asset Tracking, Lost Mode, security operations, Shared Mobility, Embedded Engineering, and Platform teams, presenting growth recommendations and budget cases to board leadership.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of previous experience in related fields.
• 7+ years of experience in product management, product engineering, or a related customer-facing product role, ideally in telematics, vehicle security, or IoT.
• 3+ years owning a product line or business outcome end to end, including building and validating business cases.
• 5–8 years of leadership experience, including 2+ years accountable for customer-facing outcomes and cross-functional coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Domain knowledge of vehicle security and anti-theft, including immobilization, starter inhibit, keyless access, jamming, and spoofing.
• Deep customer empathy, commercial instinct, P&L literacy, strong communication, and the ability to lead through influence across teams and domains.
• AI nativity for redesigning domain workflows, a self-starter mindset, and the ability to work hands-on in a single-person domain.
