Senior Product Manager (SOTI Connect)

Location: Mississauga, Canada — Meadowvale Office (HQ). Hybrid work model with in-office attendance on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The role requires travel and trade show attendance; a valid passport must be maintained.

Salary: CAD 120,000–140,000 annually.

What you will do

• Manage the entire product line lifecycle from strategic planning through tactical activities.
• Conduct market research with customers and non-customers to define current and future product requirements.
• Drive solution development across software development and testing teams by authoring requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with Marketing on product collateral and sales tools, and train Sales Support and Technical Support on product use and operations.
• Support major sales opportunities through product demonstrations and deployment assistance, and represent products at industry conferences and trade shows.
• Monitor competitive product positioning, feature sets, messaging, and relevant technology trends.

Requirements

• Experience in product management within an enterprise software or SaaS environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of IP-related networks, architecture, design, and management in telecommunications and managed hosting industries.
• Demonstrated success defining and launching products, with understanding of software development and product lifecycles.
• Excellent writing, communication, customer service, interpersonal, presentation, and training skills, including the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
• Ability to interface professionally with a wide range of customers and guide them on-site, online, and by telephone.
• Strong multitasking, problem-solving, prioritization, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to learn new tools and techniques, work independently, and partner effectively inside and outside the immediate team.
• Experience with agile software development methodology and current software technologies, trends, and strategies.
• Availability for travel and trade show attendance, with a valid passport maintained at all times.

Nice to have

• MBA plus a Computer Science or Engineering degree.
• Industry certifications and experience with macOS X, Linux, and Windows Server.
• Foreign language experience.
