Infrastructure Architect (AI Native)

What you will do

• Define infrastructure architecture, technical standards, roadmaps, and critical platform components across teams.
• Build AI Native engineering capabilities that connect code, documentation, dependencies, tests, runtime data, and operational knowledge for developers and AI agents.
• Develop multi-language toolchains, dependency management, testing, delivery platforms, and cross-language interfaces for Go, Java, Python, C++, and Rust ecosystems.
• Design monorepo structures, module boundaries, dependency policies, code ownership, incremental builds, affected-test selection, remote caching, and remote execution.
• Build CI/CD and quality platforms for hosts and containers, including automated quality gates, progressive delivery, health verification, and rollback.
• Unify observability and AIOps capabilities for SLIs, SLOs, alerting, anomaly detection, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and controlled remediation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 8 years of infrastructure or platform engineering experience, including 3 years in architecture or technical leadership.
• Deep expertise in at least one of CI/CD, build systems, observability, or AIOps, with experience designing, implementing, and operating large production systems.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, distributed systems, troubleshooting, deployment, configuration management, resource isolation, and production diagnostics in host-based and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience building infrastructure for multiple programming languages and designing shared platform interfaces and extensible language integrations.
• Familiarity with Bazel or Buck2, or with gRPC and Protocol Buffers; experience evaluating, integrating, or optimizing relevant technologies.
• Experience with automated testing, quality gates, release engineering, and observability and reliability measures for delivery workflows.
• Practical experience applying LLMs or agents to engineering workflows, including context construction, tool use, task orchestration, evaluation, and safe execution.
• Strong hands-on coding and debugging skills in at least one of Go, Python, Java, C++, or Rust, with the ability to drive implementation through design reviews, technical guidance, and cross-team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience at Google, Meta, or another leading technology company, with a background in infrastructure, developer productivity, or AI Native engineering platforms.
• Experience leading large monorepos, multi-language build platforms, remote execution platforms, or enterprise developer productivity platforms.
• Experience building and validating AI-powered code review, test generation, incident diagnosis, or automated remediation systems in production.
• Experience operating large host and container environments, improving software supply chain security, or contributing to relevant open-source projects.
