Product Manager (AI)

Location: On-site in New York City, USA; Monday–Thursday in the Union Square office

hirify.global is a 50-person vertical AI startup building an agentic operating system for the U.S. construction industry, serving more than 1,000 customers and partnering with over 50 accounting firms.

What you will do

• Own product initiatives end-to-end, focusing on measurable outcomes, customer impact, and high-quality execution.
• Define product vision, strategy, and scalable roadmaps based on user needs, workflow complexity, and business priorities.
• Shape accounting capabilities for mid-market and enterprise construction finance teams, including job costing, WIP, multi-entity accounting, revenue recognition, and audit-ready controls.
• Lead customer discovery through calls and support-ticket analysis, translating insights into problem statements.
• Build, launch, and iterate on AI agents and workflow automation capabilities from 0→1 through scale.
• Partner with design, engineering, and go-to-market teams to define agent reliability, build evaluation frameworks, and improve platform usability and coherence.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in accounting at a construction company, with firsthand knowledge of job costing, WIP schedules, retainage, AIA billing, committed costs, and contractor book-closing processes.
• Familiarity with mid-market and enterprise construction ERP platforms such as Viewpoint, CMiC, Sage Intacct, or Acumatica, including where they fall short.
• Experience building or launching AI-native or workflow automation products, with the ability to reason about model behavior, edge cases, and tradeoffs.
• Strong technical acumen and the ability to collaborate deeply with engineers and translate technical decisions into customer value.
• High ownership mindset, willingness to move quickly, and ability to act independently.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of product management experience delivering complex technical products.
