FDE AI/Solutions Architect (AI, Python/Data)

What you will do

• Understand client workflows, identify underlying business problems, and redesign functions from first principles alongside the Forward Deployed Executive.
• Design, build, and ship production GenAI, LLM-based, agentic, and RAG systems in customer environments.
• Develop evaluation harnesses, define success criteria, instrument systems, and use evaluation results to guide product design.
• Write production code across AI, backend services, and data pipelines, selecting tools to fit each customer.
• Deploy and transfer maintainable systems on AWS, including containers, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and infrastructure automation.
• Lead architecture reviews and technical proposals, document designs, mentor engineers, and drive customer adoption and change management.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and running production systems.
• Strong AI/ML foundations and the ability to reason about model capabilities and failure modes.
• Experience designing and shipping production LLM applications and agentic workflows, including multi-step orchestration, graph-based workflows, tool use, state management, and recovery from partial failure.
• Experience with LLM APIs such as Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or OpenAI, and agent frameworks.
• Production experience building and optimizing RAG systems.
• Strong engineering fundamentals, with proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript and the ability to work productively in unfamiliar codebases or languages.
• Hands-on AWS production experience with services such as Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, and ECR; experience with containers, ECS or Kubernetes, IaC, and CI/CD for AI pipelines.
• Experience owning evaluation suites for non-deterministic systems, including defining measurements, producing ground truth, and setting release gates; experience with model and agent monitoring and drift detection.
• Cost and latency optimization experience, including model tiering, caching, and estimating workload running costs.
• Hands-on production experience with the Claude ecosystem, including Claude Code, CLAUDE.md, hooks, and skills files; MCP knowledge and the ability to explain its advantages over REST integration.
• Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable with ambiguity, ownership, distributed multicultural teams, and client-facing delivery.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders, present outcomes to business leaders and CTOs, and produce phased delivery plans with deliverables, dependencies, risks, and cost estimates.
• English at B2+ level is required.

Nice to have

• Founder, CTO, or engineering leadership experience followed by a return to individual contribution.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or healthcare, and in consulting, professional services, or embedded customer-facing delivery.
• A2A knowledge, AWS or Claude Code certifications, and CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Experience with Go, TypeScript, Rust, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, or Kafka.
• Spec-driven development experience, including writing intent, constraints, and acceptance criteria before agent implementation.

Hiring process
