Mid-Level Manufacturing Planner (Aerospace)

Salary: $71,650–$109,800 annually

What you will do

• Implement fabrication, assembly, and installation manufacturing plans in coordination with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
• Define manufacturing sequences, work instructions, manufacturing datasets, tooling requirements, and manufacturing bills of material.
• Maintain hardware configuration control within manufacturing build plans.
• Develop tooling, interchangeability, replacement, and functional test plans.
• Clarify design concepts with engineering, coordinate change incorporation, and address producibility and production issues.
• Coordinate across organizations and apply process knowledge in composites, machining, sheet metal, or structures.

Requirements

• 5–9 years of manufacturing engineering or manufacturing planning experience.
• Strong to excellent SAP knowledge and general computing skills.
• Ability to become a self-starter capable of taking a project from start to finish.
• Willingness to work with all disciplines to accomplish project goals.
• Willingness to work in the manufacturing environment.
• Some experience with CATIA V5, SAP, Right Hemisphere, or equivalent tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with MS Office, SAP, and CATIA.
• Aircraft knowledge and manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, PLs, and specifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
