Machinery Planner (Industrial Turnarounds)

What you will do

• Lead assigned outage scopes through planning, scheduling, construction, execution, and closeout.
• Develop detailed work scopes, identify supporting disciplines, and create Primavera P6 schedules with manpower, durations, dependencies, and resources.
• Prepare contractor and internal-team job packages containing P&IDs, bills of materials, equipment drawings, photos, tools and materials lists, safe work procedures, quality requirements, and applicable standards.
• Manage contractors, field activities, change management, timesheet verification, progress tracking, and quality-control completion.
• Coordinate operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractor teams while supporting bid events and work-package development.
• Complete outage closeout, turnover, maintenance, project, and quality documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, outage planning, project execution, or engineering within an industrial environment.
• Strong experience with industrial turnarounds or outages, piping systems, pumps, heat exchangers, hydrotesting, and pipe fabrication.
• Knowledge of P&IDs, isometric drawings, piping specifications, and fixed equipment design packages.
• Working knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME B31.3 piping codes.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote.
• Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
