Benefit Marketing Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Evaluate current and proposed group health and life insurance contracts, including the competitiveness and viability of ancillary benefit packages.
• Develop RFPs and marketing presentations from carrier proposals, aligning materials with client objectives.
• Collaborate with the internal sales team to support strategic business goals and informed client decisions.
• Maintain accurate client management system records and documentation.
• Use APIs and digital tools to optimize quoting processes, workflow efficiency, and client service.
• Provide backup support to Senior Benefit and Marketing Analysts, including benefit spreading for marketing presentations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in group health and life insurance.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills for evaluating carrier contracts and making strategic recommendations.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects.
• Advanced Excel skills and technical proficiency with digital workflow tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and develop technical expertise while improving processes.
• A bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field is preferred.
• Exposure to fully insured and self-insured ancillary arrangements is a plus.
