Business Analyst III (Healthcare/SQL)

Location: Remote, Missouri, United States. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $70,100–$126,200 per year

What you will do

• Analyze healthcare business needs, user requirements, procedures, and operational problems.
• Support business initiatives through data analysis, implementation-barrier identification, and user acceptance testing.
• Perform detailed analysis across multiple projects, recommend business solutions, and support successful implementations.
• Improve operational and performance reports related to new business implementation processes.
• Coordinate training development and delivery with business units and departments.
• Diagnose problems, redesign processes, maintain policies and procedures, and serve as a subject matter expert for the assigned function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Four or more years of business process analysis experience in healthcare, or three or more years of managed care encounters experience.
• Experience with healthcare encounters or claims business analysis, preferably in managed care or Medicaid.
• Strong SQL writing and query development skills, including database table creation, optimization, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of HIPAA transactions such as 837, 999, 824, and 277, as well as Amisys or another claims system.
• U.S. work authorization is required; employment-based visa sponsorship is unavailable now and in the future.
