Senior Project/Program Manager (E/CTRM)

What you will do

• Lead a $160M E/CTRM program across front-, middle- and back-office, logistics, interfaces, data migration, and testing.
• Own integrated plans, milestones, dependencies, budgets, scope, risks, issues, decisions, and change management.
• Coordinate business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, integrators, clients, and senior leadership as one delivery team.
• Lead platform implementation, upgrade, or migration activities through business readiness, cutover, and stabilization.
• Report program status, risks, decisions, and delivery progress to executive sponsors.
• Manage delivery through trading, settlement, and month-end cycles while resolving blockers and adapting to changing client needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or business discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of project or program management experience and a proven record of success in project management.
• Senior-level experience leading large, complex, multi-workstream programs; experience at or approaching the $100–$200M scale is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience leading E/CTRM projects, preferably end to end, including business case, vendor selection, design, implementation, cutover, and stabilization.
• Working knowledge of the trade lifecycle across front, middle, and back office, with the ability to work credibly with traders, risk managers, operations, settlements, accounting, and IT.
• Experience with E/CTRM platform implementations, upgrades, or migrations and integrations with ERP/finance, market data, scheduling and logistics, exchanges and clearing, and counterparties.
• Expert organizational skills, urgency, accountability, initiative, leadership, interpersonal communication, and ability to drive organizational change.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to communicate effectively with project leaders, business analysts, technical resources, and users.
• Ability to be based in, or relocate to, Houston, Texas.

• Experience across multiple industries, business knowledge acquisition, mentoring, networking, and identifying client opportunities.
• Experience with physical and financial commodities such as natural gas, power, crude, refined products, or other energy and agricultural commodities.
• System-agnostic advisory experience, including assessments, software selection, commodity trading process frameworks, and requirements-driven evaluations.
• Experience working with trading, risk, and finance leadership in an energy or commodities organization.
