Senior Developer Educator (AI)

Location: Remote for candidates outside the Bay Area; hybrid for candidates within commuting distance to San Francisco, with office attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. US applicants must be authorized to work in the United States permanently and without current or future sponsorship.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 for Tier 1 locations (San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, New York City); $147,200–$184,000 for the rest of the US. Salary and equity are provided.

hirify.global builds developer infrastructure for connecting services and AI models, including APIs, customer networks, device fleets, and public and local AI models.

What you will do

• Produce brand-defining technical work that changes how developers understand hirify.global and its products.
• Choose the most effective format for each idea, including deep technical articles, interactive web experiences, videos, CLI demos, skill files, and open-source projects.
• Work with the content team and collaborate directly with product and engineering to turn complex technical concepts into useful developer education.
• Research technical conversations and create authoritative content about networking, infrastructure, and AI.
• Give and receive constructive critique through rigorous feedback loops.

Requirements

• Strong writing craft, broad reading habits, and clear opinions about technical writing.
• Builder's instinct and educator's clarity, with the ability to make technical concepts tangible.
• Deep technical knowledge of AI/ML or networking and infrastructure, or serious curiosity about the area not yet known.
• Experience working directly with product and engineering.
• Experience as a full-stack or backend developer, or in infrastructure or AI, sufficient to write credibly for developers and DevOps/platform engineers.
• Experience building something with AI agents and LLMs, with a clear understanding of where these tools help and where they do not.
• A portfolio demonstrating range, including writing and potentially tools, talks, side projects, or interactive work.
• Strong opinions about developer-tool content and awareness of current developer discussions across Hacker News, X, Bluesky, and developer newsletters.
• High standards for quality, openness to critique, and a portfolio of work the candidate is proud of.
