Salesforce Architect (Salesforce CPQ)

What you will do

• Lead the architecture review board and define end-to-end Salesforce architectures aligned with business requirements and enterprise standards.
• Design, build, integrate, and optimize scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, CPQ, and Revenue Cloud Advanced.
• Provide technical direction, code reviews, solution oversight, coaching, and mentoring for approximately 25 Salesforce engineers, including leads and senior developers.
• Govern Gearset pipelines for continuous integration, automated testing, and deployments across multiple Salesforce environments.
• Drive security, code quality, performance, reliability, scalability, root cause analysis, and architectural improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA teams, engineering leadership, and business stakeholders using Agile methodologies and Jira.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including 3+ years as a technical architect or lead developer.
• Expertise in Salesforce CPQ, Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Strong Gearset experience covering pipelines, CI/CD, automated testing, and deployments.
• Experience in Agile development environments using Jira.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, technical documentation, technical leadership, architecture guidance, and code review skills across Salesforce development teams.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Platform Developer I and II, JavaScript Developer I, CPQ, Application Architect, System Architect, Integration Architect, Data Architect, OmniStudio Consultant or Developer certifications; CTA certification is preferred.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, billing, data warehouse, and other enterprise platforms.
• Experience managing or scaling mid-sized engineering teams of 10–20+ members.
• Experience establishing or governing Salesforce architecture standards and development practices across multiple teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities focused on performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
