Strategy & Transformation Intern (Finance Transformation)

Location: Zurich, Switzerland; hybrid. The 12-month internship starts in January 2027.

What you will do

• Support the development and execution of strategic priorities and Finance Transformation initiatives across the Actuarial Reserving Division.
• Coordinate strategic and transformation workstreams, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, outcomes, and governance activities.
• Prepare presentations, reports, dashboards, executive communications, and materials for leadership meetings, committees, workshops, and offsites.
• Analyse organisational, workforce, financial, and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and practical recommendations.
• Support workforce planning, capacity assessments, management information, performance reporting, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Assist with AI adoption, digital transformation, process simplification, and initiatives improving operational efficiency and employee experience.

Requirements

• Currently studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, stakeholder management, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills.
• Proactive, curious, ownership-oriented mindset with learning agility, drive for results, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Organisational and project coordination skills.
• Non-EU/EFTA and UK citizens must provide a certificate from a Swiss university confirming that the internship is integral to their course of study.

Nice to have

• Interest in Finance Transformation, strategy, consulting, or financial services.
• Experience with Power BI or other reporting and data visualisation tools.
• Understanding of project management principles and governance frameworks.
• Interest in AI, automation, and organisational change.
