Senior Web Developer (Microsoft .NET)

What you will do

• Lead, design, and implement business solutions for an enterprise records management system.
• Evaluate technical architecture and translate business requirements into software applications and modules.
• Design and implement improvements, database schemas, tables, stored procedures, and SQL scripts.
• Provide surge support for application infrastructure and assist with user support.
• Develop and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on software development experience, including experience supporting large-scale IT systems; document and records management experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years developing ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Web API code using established programming practices.
• Experience developing custom services, components, or modules with C# and .NET Framework.
• Experience designing, creating, and implementing database systems based on end-user requirements.
• Experience developing and maintaining documented SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers with Microsoft T-SQL.
• Experience troubleshooting query performance using SQL Server Profiler, Performance Monitor, DBCC Commands, Database Engine Tuning Advisor, and execution plans.
• Experience developing and maintaining reports with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• US citizenship and public trust clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience automating data import and extraction with SSIS, BCP, or bulk insert.
• Experience with SQL Server Data Tools projects in Microsoft Visual Studio and DACPAC deployment.
• Experience with database DevOps practices, including continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment automation.
• Experience with records management systems, preferably eDocs, or similar platforms.
• Federal government consulting experience.
