Modelling Engineer (AI Hardware)

hirify.global is a startup developing custom chips and systems for high-speed AI inference, with a full software stack covering ML compilers, device drivers, firmware, runtimes, libraries, developer tooling, and simulators.

What you will do

• Develop pre-silicon models of hirify.global's AI acceleration hardware.
• Support architectural exploration and definition, functional modelling, performance modelling, and bottleneck analysis.
• Enable early software development on virtual platforms before hardware exists.
• Work closely with hardware, software, and ML teams in a hardware-software co-design loop.
• Help define accelerator behaviour, performance trade-offs, and software development priorities while reducing product lifecycle risk.

Requirements

• Experience in pre-silicon modelling of complex semiconductor IP.
• Experience with SystemC or equivalent modelling frameworks.
• Strong C++ skills for high-performance simulation.
• Experience with performance modelling and architectural analysis.
• Experience with verification and functional modelling.

Nice to have

• Experience with ML workloads or ML accelerator architectures.
• Prior startup or small-team experience.
