Program Manager (Cost Transformation)

Location: Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang (Penang), Malaysia; onsite full-time

What you will do

• Lead site capital investment planning and financial governance, including CAPEX budgeting, forecasting, prioritization, utilization tracking, and investment performance management.
• Own site capital cash flow planning and forecasting, covering spending commitments, cash requirements, risks, opportunities, and forecast accuracy.
• Manage depreciation planning and forecasting for the site asset base and capital investment portfolio.
• Lead financial governance for cost transformation initiatives and track structural cost-reduction and productivity opportunities.
• Build financial business cases for investments and transformation initiatives using ROI, NPV, IRR, payback period, and sensitivity or scenario analysis.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, influence strategic decisions, represent the business in planning processes, and mentor lower-level employees.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 7–10 years of experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
• Advanced subject matter knowledge and experience handling complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Knowledge of accounting, auditing, corporate finance, data analysis, economics, financial analysis, financial modeling, financial planning, financial statements, GAAP, internal controls, investments, KPIs, process improvement, P&L management, SAP Applications, and variance analysis.
• Effective communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
