Senior Supply Planner (Supply Chain)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; onsite role within the manufacturing network

What you will do

• Monitor and adjust supply plans with plant supply planners based on demand, production capacity, material availability, and business requirements.
• Lead and support escalations for critical shortages, capacity constraints, and supply disruptions.
• Manage direct import order inquiries with plants and customer fulfillment teams, reviewing unmet inquiries and improving committed schedules.
• Analyze planning data, demand trends, supply performance, and KPIs; prepare reports and meeting decks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply issues and monitor plant performance.
• Support planning-process enhancements, automation, continuous improvement projects, ad-hoc requests, and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, and manufacturing, preferably in the toy or consumer goods industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage complex issues.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in advanced supply chain software such as SAP, Oracle, or Tableau, and in data analysis tools.
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a dynamic environment.
• Good spoken and written English required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge and experience with Power BI and Macro.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin.
