AI Integration Engineer

Location: Espoo, Finland; remote work with flexible working hours

Salary: €68,000–€87,000 per year, depending on experience

hirify.global is a product company developing an integration platform as a service for connecting systems, automating workflows, and supporting digitalization and AI projects.

What you will do

• Build and maintain AI tooling, including agent skills, scripts, prompts, automated tests, versioning, and release notes.
• Add support for new source platforms and deliver hands-on hirify.global development on migration projects.
• Analyze existing customer integrations, estimate migration effort, and design hirify.global solutions.
• Join mostly remote customer technical sessions and turn project issues into tooling backlog items and fixes.
• Coach consultants and partners, create playbooks and documentation, and help turn the tooling into a service.
• Track estimate accuracy and contribute to new tools and services.

Requirements

• Around 5+ years of software or integration development experience, with strong experience in at least two of enterprise integration, AI-assisted development, hands-on development, and customer technical work.
• Hands-on use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex in real development work.
• Solid understanding of APIs, data formats, and messaging, including REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and queues.
• Programming experience in at least one general-purpose language, such as C#, Python, TypeScript, or Java.
• Ability to quickly read and understand unfamiliar code and integration logic.
• Experience with version control and modern development practices, including Git, code review, and CI/CD.
• Fluent English, spoken and written, is required for communication with developers and customers.
• Fast learning, curiosity, problem-solving ability, and willingness to work with unfamiliar challenges.

Nice to have

• Migration experience between integration platforms and knowledge of how concepts map between platforms.
• Experience building tools, automations, or internal platforms for developers.
• Experience validating AI-generated code or output through evaluations, test automation, or review practices.
• Customer project delivery, including scoping and estimating integration work.
• Integration architecture, enterprise integration patterns, API-led or layered API architecture, and event-driven integration.
• BPMN or other process-modelling notation.
• MCP servers, agent skills or workflows, LLM APIs, and prompt and context design.
• Azure, especially integration and hosting services.
