Media Communications Associate (Financial Services)

Location: New York, United States

Annual base salary: $135,000–$155,000, plus variable year-end compensation.

hirify.global is a financial services firm whose Communications group builds and protects the firm’s external brand and reputation through press engagement and industry conferences.

What you will do

• Manage processes and projects related to press engagements and industry conference participation.
• Coordinate with internal groups and external parties on initiatives promoting and protecting the firm’s brand and reputation.
• Support firmwide media monitoring and related processes.
• Develop materials for external speaking and press opportunities.
• Improve the team’s infrastructure, data management, and communications strategy, including through AI-related efficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a demonstrated record of academic and professional achievement.
• One to three years of relevant experience in communications and/or operations roles.
• Keen process orientation, attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate with teammates, and coordinate effectively with colleagues and departments across the firm.
• Excellent organizational and process management skills.
• Ambitious, client-service-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a rigorous, collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Experience working at a PR agency and/or in the financial industry.
