Practice Leader - Security (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Assess customer security requirements, current security postures, vulnerabilities, risks, and potential breaches.
• Provide guidance on security practices, risk management strategies, policies, audits, reviews, and compliance.
• Design and implement security controls, policies, and procedures across customer environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, access controls, and encryption technologies.
• Support secure-by-design reviews of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, and collaborate with customers and vendors on assessments, audits, and due diligence.
• Track evolving threats, technologies, and best practices, producing recommendations that improve organizational security postures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in information security consulting and implementation, including strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience managing risks related to processing, storing, or transmitting information to reduce or eliminate impacts on the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of information and systems.
• Experience conducting security and risk assessments using frameworks such as NIST, RMF, or Common Criteria.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to adapt to changing security threats and technologies and stay current with security trends and best practices.
• Customer-focused, inclusive, open, and able to drive personal and professional development with a growth mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience helping stakeholders quantify risks and develop mitigation and remediation strategies.
• Understanding and application of the NIST Control Framework, Critical Security Controls, and related regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with cloud security, cyber resiliency and incident management, Zero Trust, network and EDGE security, IoT, AI, and other emerging technologies.
