Devops Automation Lead (Cybersecurity)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; flexible hybrid work model with 8–10 in-office days per month.

What you will do

• Lead the Cyber Security/Prevent team in logging and monitoring across hirify.global Group and local markets.
• Oversee platform configuration, development, optimization, and maintainability.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple squads and lead DevSecOps engineers.
• Partner with the Product Owner to prioritize and maintain the backlog.
• Evaluate design methods and define tooling, patching, and monitoring strategies to reduce cyber risks.
• Drive automation and make technical decisions that improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience with Elastic Stack, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats.
• Python development and Kubernetes operations experience.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure, plus BigQuery or similar cloud technology.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity data analysis and mapping.
• Experience with platform operations in complex environments, CI/CD pipeline development, site reliability engineering, and operational monitoring.
• Experience with cloud-native and open-source tools, Git, CI/CD, container registries, and automation infrastructure.
• Stakeholder engagement, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English.
