Information Technology Specialist (Networking)

Location: Houston, TX, United States; first shift

What you will do

• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, network devices, circuitry, enterprise wiring, and VPN infrastructure.
• Use network management tools to monitor network health and performance.
• Isolate and resolve network-related service calls and infrastructure problems.
• Configure, install, troubleshoot, document, and sustain network infrastructure for projects.
• Manage internal Network Services projects and coordinate with IT service providers on interfaces and customizations.
• Research solutions, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues before they become critical.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field required.
• At least three years of Information Technology experience related to networking technologies required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work across all levels of management and staff.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
