macOS EUC Engineer (Jamf)

Location: Hybrid/onsite in Hoover, Alabama or Atlanta, Georgia, United States; regular office attendance of three or more full days per week is required. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Salary: $77,932.25–$102,860.00 USD per year.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance desktop and virtual desktop solutions.
• Configure virtual machines, session hosts, networks, storage, images, user profiles, application delivery, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Implement Jamf Pro configurations, macOS provisioning through Apple Business Manager ADE, configuration baselines, packages, scripts, patching, and compliance workflows.
• Support macOS identity, authentication, certificate, security, and enterprise-system integrations, including Jamf APIs and security platforms.
• Design high-availability, disaster-recovery, backup, redundancy, and failover solutions while troubleshooting infrastructure and connectivity issues.
• Lead escalated issue resolution with support, security, network, identity, application, and infrastructure teams; create design, deployment, policy, and operational documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field plus four years of experience designing and implementing desktop solutions, or a high school diploma/GED plus eight years of such experience.
• Experience in network design, including connectivity options, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Working knowledge of macOS permissions, FileVault, MDM, security features, Apple Business Manager ADE and VPP, certificates, SSO, and modern authentication.
• Knowledge of operating systems, virtual desktop services, identity and access management, security best practices, encryption, access controls, compliance, monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of automation tools and scripting, including PowerShell, VB scripting, Shell, bash, zsh, or Python, as well as enterprise services such as SCCM, SQL, Active Directory, WSUS, GPOs, and Jamf.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, conceptual, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to work with minimal supervision and provide excellent customer service.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work full time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Certifications in A+, Azure, Citrix, Jamf, or Microsoft technologies.
• Jamf certification at the 200 or 300 level, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience supporting macOS devices in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Jamf Protect, EDR platforms, certificate services, OS hardening, Intune Conditional Access, and Microsoft Defender.
